Obituary of Carlos Blanco
Carlos Blanco was born in Camaguey Cuba on January 29, 1935 to Carlos Blanco and Rosaline Rosalee Blanco. God called upon him on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 5:27 in the morning. Carlos was the beloved husband of Madeline Blanco. He was a loving father to Valencia, Carlos (deceased), Carmencita and Yorlanda. He was a second father and friend to his son in-laws, Ulysses (deceased), Dwight, Chiron and had one daughter in-law, Michelle White (deceased). He was a cherished grandfather of Ulysses Jr., Muhommad, Valencia, Carlita, Carleen, Carlos, Tina, Yemalicia, Delencio, Chi-la and Jeremiah. He was also blessed with a precious great granddaughter, Kaiyana Rosalee. Carlos was a brother in law, an adored uncle of many nieces and nephews in addition to being a great friend.
Carlos worked at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he met and married the love of his life, Madeline Blanco 53 years ago. He was a senior orderly at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and worked as an air condition refrigeration mechanic at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital. Carlos worked every day to better educate himself by furthering his studies in Occupational Therapy and studied the Art of Living Foundations.
Carlos enjoyed listening to music, dancing, walking, reading and cooking. His hobbies consisted of collecting records to add to his library and he was a carpenter by love. He was fascinated with wood and created pieces of art such as speakers, stereo stands and picture frames. He had an eye for home décor and enjoyed redesigning the house. Carlos was a fun, loving person who loved living life. He traveled the world throughout his life studies. He was spiritual in his human form and his family is looking forward to knowing him in his afterlife. He joins his son, Carlos Jr. and son in-law, Ulysses as the Blanco/Malloy Guardian Angels.
Services will be held at Stoney Creek Cremation & Burial Society (3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234) on Friday November 27, 2015 at 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
